DESCRIPTION
Le chauffe-poignet Xerotherm est conçu pour être utilisé avec des gants secs et comble l'écart entre la sous-combinaison d'un plongeur et la doublure de gant sec. Le chauffe-poignet se trouve sous le joint de la combinaison étanche et permet à l'air de s'égaliser avec le gant étanche, empêchant ainsi la compression. En cas de défaillance du gant, le tissu n'est pas trop épais, ce qui signifie que l'eau n'inondera pas à travers le joint. La double couche de tissu xerotherm à l'intérieur du poignet offre une protection renforcée pour une zone où le sang circule près de la surface de la peau. Les mains resteront donc plus longtemps au chaud.

DESCRIPTION
The Xerotherm wrist warmer is designed to be used with drygloves, and bridges the gap between a diver's undersuit and dry glove liner. The wrist warmer sits below the drysuit seal, and allows air to equalise with the dryglove, preventing squeeze. In the case of a glove failure, the fabric is not too thick, meaning that water will not flood through the seal. The double layer of xerotherm fabric on the inside of the wrist provides enhanced protection for an area where blood flows close to the skin surface. Hands will therefore stay warmer for longer.
